      @jcollier64

Yes, you would import the appropriate Basis transport subfolder matching your S/4HANA system's SAP_BASIS version, and SAP S/4HANA runs on SAP_BASIS 750 and above.

However, (and forgive me for potentially stating the obvious) please be aware that

      • The SAP Admin Module is not supported on S/4HANA systems, i.e. S/4HANA systems can only be configured as Independent or Dependent SAP systems.
      • When importing transports you may see a warning about mismatched component versions. This is expected for /LICMAN/ namespace objects - select the 'Ignore Invalid Component Version' checkbox on the Import Transport Request Options tab.

      Thanks,

      John Sorensen

  2. Upcoming Change: IT Visibility – Query API Delta Resume Token Invalidation (Action Required on July 20, 2026)

As part of an upcoming platform update, existing IT Visibility Queries API (https://developer.flexera.com/docs/api/vis/v2#/Query) delta resume tokens will be invalidated on July 20, 2026.

    What does this mean?

On or after July 20, 2026, any delta query that uses an existing resume token will fail. This is a one-time change required to ensure data accuracy going forward.

    What action is required?

If you consume delta data via the Queries API, please take the following action:

    • Remove the resume token from your current request
    • Run a new query/fresh snapshot on or after July 20, 2026 to generate a new resume token
    • Use the newly generated resume token in subsequent requests to continue using delta queries.

    Additional details

    • Snapshot queries are not impacted
    • No changes are required to the Queries API endpoints or request format
    • This change applies only to delta consumers

We recommend planning this snapshot run into your workflows ahead of time to avoid any disruption.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Flexera Support.

    • Does this impact the ServiceNow integration? I think it's using this endpoint vis/v2/orgs/<ORGID>/servicenow_queries/ so not sure.

  3. But isn't it that the details about the assigned user and the calculated user should be taken care of by the system itself? I checked data migrated from ITVisibility to ServiceNow and user is captured but not in ITAM part of Flexera ONE. Thoughts?

    • JohnSorensenDK (Flexera Software)

      @jjoaquin

I'm personally a bit confused about your question here, so please clarify or elaborate a bit on:

      • Are you referring to having enabled the ITAM configuration Synchronize assigned user with calculated user when stating "...isn't it that the details about the assigned user and the calculated user should be taken care of by the system itself?"?
      • The Flexera One IT Visibility - ServiceNow integration doesn't include any user data. Please provide details (maybe a redacted screen shot...) about where you see the user data captured in IT Visibility and ServiceNow?

I think that this will enable the forum members to provide better feedback.

      Thanks,

      John Sorensen

  4. New ITAM Notifications Tab

New ITAM Notifications Tab instructions advise "The ITAM Notifications tab (Administration > IT Asset Management Settings > General". I am an administrator of the system but I am not able to see this?

    • You have to wait for the production release. At the moment you can see the this only in UAT.

  5. Please help me to find Flexera Implementation course or hands-on training

    Hello,

I have been trying to search Flexera Tool Implementation course in Flexera Learning portal from many days however, I am not getting any such course or training in portal. Could anyone help me to find the course or training link?

    • JohnSorensenDK (Flexera Software)

      @roosharm

I have now updated your personal account in Flexera's CRM system, so after relogin to the Community you should now be able to access the Learning Center portal from the Resources drop-down.

      Thanks,

      John Sorensen

  6. Contract Email Notifications: Release 2025R2.5

    Dear Flexera Team :)

I have some questions regarding the contract email notifications feature in 2025 R2.5.

    1. "Once enabled, all IT Asset Management users in the tenant can access the My ITAM Notifications page (Administration > IT Asset Management Settings > My ITAM Notifications)."

Question: If a user does not have the role to access contracts, will they still be able to see the "My ITAM Notifications" settings?

    2. If a contract is scoped via the Ownership tab to Corp Unit A, and the ITAM role of the actual user is scoped to Corp Unit B — will the user receive an email?

    Question: Will scoping be respected?

    3. Responsibility types (optional): In addition to the administrator and the user who enabled the notification, you can also send notifications to users who were assigned specific responsibilities for a contract. For example, if a user is assigned the Negotiator responsibility, they will receive notifications only for contracts where they are designated as a Negotiator. Responsibilities are defined on the Responsibilities tab in the Contract Properties.

Question: If more than one admin or user selects the same Responsibility user — will that responsibility user receive multiple emails for the same contract?

    4. Is this feature the beginning of the (coming soon) universal email notifications era? (At the moment it looks like the old on-premises ECM Business Portal pushed to the cloud. 😕)

    5. Does a roadmap exist for the upcoming notification features?

    Thanks in advance,

    Max :)

    • Hello Max,

Please find below the answers to your queries:

1.if the user doesn't have modify contract access to atleast one contract, user will not be able to see/save the ITAM notifications

2.I couldn't understand it fully but as long as the user can modify the contracts under CorpA, he should be able to receive emails

3.only one email will be sent even if same user is assigned with multiple responsibilities for same contract

      4. We have multiple use cases in discussion regarding notifications. We will update as and when they move forward.

      5. This is one of the first use cases that we are releasing and more will follow soon.
