Guidance on SSRS Reporting Architecture for FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS)Hi Team,
We currently have an FNMS environment where the FNMS application/databases are hosted on separate servers, while our SSRS reporting services and reporting databases are hosted on a different server.
For management reporting, we currently retrieve data from the FNMS databases using multiple stored procedures and staging/reporting tables, and expose the results through SSRS reports.
Over time, we have started seeing some inconsistencies with the reporting data, and since there is limited documentation available for the existing implementation, we are considering restructuring the SSRS reporting solution.
We are planning to organize the reports into areas such as:
- Discovery – multiple reports/views related to inventory and discovery data
- Monitoring – multiple operational/monitoring reports
- Publisher – publisher/software-specific reports and views
We would like to understand the recommended approach for building an SSRS reporting solution around FNMS data, particularly around:
- Recommended FNMS database views/tables or reporting interfaces for reporting purposes
- Best practices for extracting FNMS data into a separate reporting database
- Whether direct database queries, stored procedures, staging tables, or another supported approach is recommended
- Any reference architecture, documentation, sample queries, or SSRS reporting examples available from Flexera
If anyone has implemented a similar FNMS + SSRS reporting architecture, any guidance or documentation would be greatly appreciated.

initialize solution failed while running User Console configuration- ChrisG (Flexera Software)
This sounds like it may not be related to FlexNet Manager Suite. FlexNet Manager Suite does not have anything called "User Console" to be configured. Has this been posted in the wrong form?

Does this also apply to Flexera One? If so, please add it next to FNMS on Premises1 of 2 Odd, I asked this question on a doc page. Not quite sure how it ended up in this forum. Not even sure what doc page it was.

We see the exact same behavior in Flexera One with multiple beacons.

Import ProxMox hosts via Discovery and Inventory?We've migrated FNMS to 2026 R1 and want to take inventory of a ProxMox environment. Has anyone had experience with how to do this?

long time, no see ;)
For getting an useful Proxmox inventory i suggest using the Proxmox REST API.
With the Business Adapter Studio you'll need to get NODE and QEMU VM data, and in addition a common agent inventory for software recognition.
API:
Extract the complete list of VMs, and after that every VM data seperately.

If you believe any of this is incorrect, then I would recommend that you open a support case and request content updates, and please make sure to include the relevant documentation for challenging it being correct.

You may want to refer to this KB article: Reconcile is not running or stuck in progress state as killing or terminating an abnormally long-running reconciliation job in FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) involves the Batch Scheduler, worker executables (ComplianceReader.exe), and active SQL Server transactions, i.e. properly handling of all three layers.
