Summary

This article discusses enhancement request SCA-11223

Symptoms

FlexNet Code Insight removes everything (Copyright, (c) and year) from the copyright statement it has found and only keeps the copyright holder in the Project Report's "Files with Copyright" tab.

Example:

A file contains "Copyright 1997,1999,2000 Andi Kleen.". This becomes "Andi Kleen" in the Project Report.

We want to take the found copyright statements and add them to our BOM, but for that, we need the full copyright statements to be compliant with the licenses and with the US copyright law.

My request is either to change the Copyright Holder field in the report to Copyright Statement or add an additional column that contains the Copyright Statement.

Resolution

An enhancement request has been raised under reference SCA-11223 to add the full copyright statement to reports available within FlexNet Code Insight. Please contact our Technical Support team quoting reference SCA-11223 for more information on this enhancement.
