Configuring a Completion Workflow
Create a new completion workflow or edit an existing one in Commander. Add an Execute Script step with the following settings:
- Step Name: Add to Organizational Unit
- Step Execution: Always execute, or configure a condition if required
- Timeout: 300
- Script Output: Capture script output as comment
- When Step Fails: Mark workflow step as failed; do not proceed
- Command Line:
c:\windows\system32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy bypass & "c:\scripts\add_to_AD_Group.ps1" -VMName "#{target.deployedName}"
After completing these steps, all deployed VMs processed by the workflow will be automatically added to the specified Active Directory group.
