- The customer's external service gateway service will not start.
- They can remote into the server and manually start the service gateway but after approximately 1-2 mins it stops again.
- The customer's SSL cert has recently been updated.
- The internal Snow inventory server has the new certificate and is working fine. The certificate has been updated on the Service gateway server but still, the service will not run for more than 2 mins.
Snow Gateway Service
- We tried the Snow Inventory Server 5 service which stopped after approximately 2 mins.
- We checked the log file and this showed an certification error which checking against the config file showed it had the correct thumbprint.
- We also checked the Certificate which looked correct and showed the correct thumbprint.
- We removed the gateway and re-added it.
- We added the 'certification with forward address'.
- This change kept the service running and looked correct from the log file.
