GraphQL query API permission error: insufficient privilege

Title

When working with the GraphQL Query API in IT Visbility, you may encounter the following error:

"Insufficient privilege for path #1: requires cloud:data:query_graphql, uom:data:query_graphql, common:org:own"

This error indicates that the user does not have the required permissions to access the GraphQL API. To resolve this, the user must be assigned the Query GraphQL role.

Solution

To grant the Query GraphQL role:

Navigate to Flexera One.
Go to Administration.
Select User Management.
Choose the user who needs the role.
Go to Roles.
Scroll to the Data and Analytics section.
Select Query GraphQL.

Outcome

The user now has full access to the GraphQL Query API, and data queries will execute successfully without any permission-related errors.
