From FNP 11.18.3 version onwards, FNP has hardened the policy for mac address extraction.
In the physical environment, there is attempt to only filter out built-in mac addresses with the latest logic. Previously, even plug and play were also considered valid hostids.
It means avoiding the hostids that can be moved from one system to another for example Virtual adapters, USB adapters, etc.
The step has been taken for improved security .
Hence the output of lmhostid in older versions and versions 11.18.3 and above may vary .
