Inventory Date shows a future date in the Inventory grid

Symptoms

When viewing the Inventory grid, you may see a future date in the InventoryDate column. FNMP / FNMS will no longer update inventory for these machines if the incoming inventory shows an older date than the current one in the Inventory grid.

You would also expect to see the following error in the Importer log:
ManageSoft.Inventory.Importer.InventoryOutOfDate: Ignoring out of date Inventory

Cause

This can happen when a machine has, at some time, had a future date set as the local time/date for the machine.

Resolution

Once the local time/date has been corrected on the machines and data source in question; please run the attached SQL script on the FNMS database to reset any future date to today's date. This will then enable the forthcoming inventories to be imported.
Please backup your FNMS database before running this script in case of errors.
