This article provides information on configuring a three server redundancy using lmadmin.

Discussion

1. Install the FlexNet Licensing Server from the Product and License Center: https://flexerasoftware.subscribenet.com
2. Open the command prompt as Administrator and cd to the directory that contains lmadmin.exe (cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Flexera Software\FlexNet\Licensing Server). If you installed the license server as a service this file will be named lmadmin_svc.exe
3. Force Import the license file into lmadmin (lmadmin.exe -force -import <PATH TO LICENSE FILE>). The License file is generated in the Product and License Center (see related KB Q214185)
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the other 2 license servers machines
5. Start lmadmin on all 3 machines in the same order specified in the license file: primary, secondary and tertiary
