This article explains how components created by dynamically linked files are shared by different projects.
Discussion
When a dynamic link is used to include files into a project, InstallShield automatically creates new components for each subdirectory found in the dynamic link. However, the components created are not exposed in the development environment. At first, it may seem that because the components are not exposed in the development environment, they cannot be shared among different projects; however, it is possible.
