Synopsis
Can the License File Finder dialog box be disabled?
Discussion
The prompt that asks for the server or license (the license finder dialog) can be disabled by using the following
FLEXible API attribute.lc_set_attr(lm_job, LM_A_PROMPT_FOR_FILE, (LM_A_VAL_TYPE) 0);
Workaround
In addition to setting LM_A_PROMPT_FOR_FILE to 0 in the app, you can also set the FLEXLM_BATCH environment variable on the client machine to 1 in order to suppress the license finder dialog box. However this will also prevent checkout related error pop-ups from showing up as well.
