Question:
Because of the virtualization solution is Hyper-V, I'm not able to retrieve if the server is Physical or Virtual and I think it will be a little bit difficult to have the specific Hyper-V informations when we will scan the Hyper-V infrastructure. How did you manage this kind of infrastructure on other clients?
Answer:
Hyper-V VMs are treated like physical servers. We collect against the OS directly (as we do with VMware VMs)... You can identify them by "Microsoft" as the hardware vendor in the asset page
