Snow agent for linux is consuming high memory and getting stuck. The log file looks like this:

In this instance the issue was resolved by changing the config file and setting the scanning of RPM to false:

<Setting key="software.scan.rpm" value="false" />

An RPM package can contain an arbitrary set of files. Most RPM files are “binary RPMs” (or BRPMs) containing the compiled version of some software which are not necessary to be scanned
