1. Increase the volume size in your cloud console

   • Open the AWS console.

   • Modify the size of the root or data volume.

   • The updated size appears in the stateful instance after the change completes.
     
     

2. Update block device mapping in the Flexera console

   • Go to Elastigroup, then select your group.

   • Choose Actions, then Edit configuration.

   • Open the block device mapping settings.

   • Update the size for the root or data volumes, especially if you use snapshot backups.

3. Recycle the stateful instance

   • Recycle the stateful instance so the new volume size is applied.

After you complete these steps and recycle the instance, the instance will use the updated volume size.
