This article explains the steps that can be followed in order to deploy additional script(s) on machines where Snow Agent is already installed.

For example, if an additional script is required to recognise a particular application, this method can be followed to perform the deployment without installing / redeploying the Snow agent again.

Snow Inventory Server 5.3.x and 6.x

1. Load Snow Management and Configuration Center.

2. Copy the script to a folder on the server.

3. Under Snow Inventory select Agent Updates

4. Fill out the new name and description and select the target operating system and click next.

5. Add the script file by clicking on the Add button under Add support files option.

6. Select the Site of the target agents that this script is going to be deployed.

7. Schedule the task and click Publish.

8. Once published the progress bar will appear on the main screen.

9. Once the progress bar finishes check the path C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Inventory\Agent and the script should be there.
