This article is a collection of FAQs to provide more information about the in-app messaging capability rolling out in FlexNet Operations ALM. This is supplemental to the FlexNet Operations release notes. 

What is being introduced and why?

To better serve our customers, we are introducing a new capability in the FlexNet Operations Producer Portal to facilitate in-app notifications, accelerate product on-boarding and new feature enablement, and identify product areas we can enhance.

When will this capability be introduced?

This capability will be included in the FlexNet Operations ALM 2025.04 release. This capability will not be available in FlexNet Operations LLM. 

Does this affect FlexNet Operations functionality?

This capability does not directly affect FlexNet Operations core functionality, but it enhances your FlexNet Operations experience by providing you the resources you need to get the most value out of the product.

What data is being collected, and how is it used?

This capability tracks usage data to improve the user experience, such as which features are used and how users interact with the product. The data also allows us to personalize in-app messaging, sharing only the information most relevant to you. For example, you will be notified of important scheduled maintenances and product updates.
