Customers using Business Adapters to call the legacy SOAP API through
slo.app.flexera.eu may experience SSL/TLS handshake failures. Flexera updated its TLS endpoint configuration to support only TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 with strong cipher suites as part of a security enhancement initiative. Older operating systems such as Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows 8 or earlier do not support these protocols. These systems are end-of-life and cannot establish secure connections with Flexera’s SOAP API endpoint.Error message

Impact
The following operating systems are impacted:
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Windows 8 or earlier
These operating systems do not support the required secure protocols and cannot establish secure connections with Flexera’s SOAP API endpoint. Because they are also end of life according to Microsoft, they have been removed from the list of supported operating systems for beacons. Recommended actions
- Upgrade the beacon operating system to a supported version.
- Move to an operating system that supports TLS 1.2 or later and strong cipher suites to maintain secure communication.
Once operating system is updated business adapters will work again with TLS V1.2 or above.
