In App Broker 2025 R1, you can now sync users and computers from both Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) and Intune. However, if the Sync Page Size setting under Settings > Deployment > Common exceeds 999, the Intune sync may fail.
This happens because App Broker uses the Microsoft Graph API to retrieve users and devices from Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and the API limits the maximum page size to 999.
Enable Intune sync alongside ConfigMgr sync
- In App Broker, go to Settings > Deployment > Intune.
- Select Sync Users and Sync Computers.
Verify if the Intune sync failed
If Intune users and devices do not appear in the App Broker database, check the DataSync.log file.
Look for this error:
ImportUsersToDb - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
This error usually means the Sync Page Size exceeds 999.
Fix the sync failure
- Go to Settings > Deployment > Common.
- Set Sync Page Size to 999 or lower.
- Save the change and re-run the Intune sync.
