Hi, we are looking for a way to leave a comment to a productversion compliance calculation. Of course we have a comment field within the Productversion, but is there a way to intrgrate this field in the Compliant-"Dashboard" or is there any other way to comment compliantresult within the system?

sorry, I think at the moment, there is no other supported way in Spider than the comment field in the product version.
I think that could be a thing to be supported in the future, so I've raised an internal ticket for this. Could you please tell me as well, what your use case for this is ? What kind of Information do you like to store for a compliance result ?

Hi,
we cannot generate compliance for "Microsoft PowerApps P2". The only valid SKU J8Q-00005 that comes with the spider catalog does not work for us/is not recognized accordingly.
We can generate compliance with the outdated SKU DNV-00001 .
Any opinion on this anyone?

i am missing esx machines and their virtual clients (server). my account for reading out is there and has all reading rights for the host .

The solution was found within the Spider Data Collector Manual (DE Chapter 5, Page 46 or EN Chapter 5, Page 47)

When using multiple entries of the same connector (e.g. to query two or more SCCM databases), the suffix needs to
be adjusted, otherwise results from the second call will overwrite the results of the first call.
The suffix must differ from each other. For example _Connector_01 and _Connector_02... or to further distinguish the two _Connector_Prod and _Connector_Test...)

I think that's a general question. We would very much like to automatically upload manufacturers whose products can be found with us but are not part of the product catalog so that the catalog can be adapted more quickly. We have two questions there:
1) Can you look at something like this, or can we simulate such an upload to see what would be uploaded?
2) How quickly would this update the product catalog?

You can find the .swrd file typically in 'C:\RecognitionData\Upload'.
Items uploaded in 'January' are aimed to be released in 'February'.
The data the Server receives is strictly off limits for Support. We would have to follow queries with the Product Catalogue Team.

es gibt folgende Lizenzmetriken: Site (Organisation, Unternehmensweit, Standort) und Floating (gleichzeitige parallele Nutzung)
Im Spider Compliance Dashboard werden diese Produkte als Unterlizenziert angezeigt, obwohl dies nicht stimmt. Wie muss man diese Produkte richtig im Spider anlegen/ pflegen?
Beispiele:
5 Floating Lizenzen - Anwendung, worauf 30 User Zugriff haben - technisch ist dies nicht möglich, dass mehr als 5 User die Anwendung öffnen (Berechtigung, Lizenzserver von der Anwendung) >> Info von Spider: 25 Stück unterlizenziert
1 Site Lizenz - 10 Anwender - Unterlizenzierung 9 Stück

The web application presently employ LDAP(S) or a local database to authenticate the user to the system. For several reasons, that technique becomes obsolete. (a local user db is a security problem, no matter which encryption is used).
Therefore it is mandentory to improve the authentication in the near future. Is there any roadmap to implement a more sophisticated authentication method (preferable SAML in my case). Moreover, it is either preferred to exclude the authorisation (role mapping) from the system using attributes in the SAML ticket.
